and continues in Embarcadero Park, on San Diego Bay.

- FACTS:The
7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti on January 12, 2010 at
4:53 p.m., claiming the lives of more than 212,000 people, injuring
300,000, displacing almost 1,000,000 and destroying the country's
infrastructure -
3 million people are in need of emergency aid. $16.50
of each $20 registration-fee goes to Red Cross ($3.50 covers
automated registration service) - Event expenses will be paid
for by the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. With
family members living in Haiti, several associates at the Manchester
Grand Hyatt San Diego decided they could do something to help,
and this event was developed. One
family member of a Hyatt associate perished in the tragedy and
many others were impacted
At the
event, prizes will include stays at various California Hyatts,
dinners at Lael s and more

March 20, we invite you to help us finish Chelsea's run. Together,
we will run or walk for Chelsea, for her family, and for our community.
The course will be 3 miles around Lake Hodges. We will start at
9 am with a quick opening ceremony and then everyone is invited
to walk or run the 3 miles. Many schools and running teams will
participate -- please come out to show your support! |
