San Diego hosts a great variety of running events throughout the year!
With an annual calendar full of running events, you can find a race to run nearly every weekend. the start of a New Year brings out the 'Resolution Runs'! Join In!
There are many 10k races, but also 5k, 8k, 15k, half and full marathons to chose from.
If you want to get off the road there are trail and cross country races also.
On this page you can find races to run by month, distance or type.

The big race of the month is the 'Carlsbad Marathon' located in North Coastal San Diego, it's a beautiful run along the beach.

Details: Start your year right with a San Diego run that is good for the body and good for some karma points. The San Diego Resolution Run 5K & 15K event will take runners on a loop around Fiesta Island in scenic Mission Bay Park’s De Anza Cove while raising funds for charities that seek to keep the environment healthy. The Resolution Run is in its fifth year, and attracted more than 1,300 participants in 2010. The Resolution Run features an adult 5K race and an adult 15K race, as well as youth races, a Furry Friends Fun Run and a Stroller Strut Fun Run.
