Baja California Mexico is the furthest west state of Mexico, and somewhat of an island geographically & politically, with no common border to mainland of Mexico. Recognized as the longest peninsula in the world it has variety and much to offer. It has Beaches, deserts, mountains, the Pacific Ocean on the west, and the Sea of Cortez in the Gulf of California on the east.

Baja California, Mexico is a peninsula with 2 states, North-Norte, and South/Sur. The north border is south of San Diego, California, and actually has no border to mainland Mexico.
